GRANTSTUDiO

I'm Grant Mitchell. No, not the bald thug from EastEnders! Owner and Creative Director at GRANTSTUDiO.

I am bald but I'm also an international award-winning designer, creative director and design educator from Manchester. Unlike my namesake, I've spent my career solving problems, not creating them! Partnering with organisations to help bring out their character through their brand and creative communications.

Over the years I've created brands, designed exhibitions, made films, websites, campaigns, brochures, reports and a load more.

Working with clients including; Domis, NHS, D&AD, Band on the Wall, Manchester Cathedral, Merck-Serono, Altrad, Cole Waterhouse, National Football Museum, Chetham's Library, Contact Theatre, Manchester Business School, Staffordshire University, Places for People, BASF, Forever Manchester, Novartis, Manchester City Council, Stockport Council and many more.

I've been in the design industry since graduating from Staffordshire University with a First Class BA (Hons) in Graphic Design in 1997.

I have a passion for design education and was an Associate Lecturer at my old Uni for over a decade.

Born in Urmston, I've lived in Salford for nearly 30 years and love the culture, attitude and creativity of this place.

Away from work I'm a big Man United fan, lover of music (especially shoegaze), gig-goer and proud Dad to our two amazing kids.
